My name is Julia Rubin. I like to write.
I’ve written about lots of things. You should have a look. I also take pictures and design stuff. I maintain a Tumblr, with images both original and found (and some writing, too). Oh, and I tweet.
Once upon a time I attended the University of Pennsylvania, where I was the editor-in-chief of Penn’s 34th Street Magazine and its blog Under the Button. While I was a writer/editor at school, I spent my non-academic months interning for Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel. The height of my fashion career occurred when Bill Cunningham took a picture of me. I also interned for Phaidon Press, who makes the loveliest books.
After graduation, I moved to New York and began working at Styleite. Two years later, I joined the team over at Teen Vogue, where I currently head up online fashion features. Want to get in touch? Try me at julia.r.rubin [at] gmail [dot] com.
